June 2002 to Present- Self-Employed - International ATM Consulting - Chonburi, Thailand
ATM Systems development, planning, implementation, on-site troubleshooting and system acceptance testing.
Germany: Provided 16 weeks of on-site support to evaluate and update TracView system source code and adaptation data. Adapted TracView system from one DFS location to another (Bremen to Karlsruhe). Debugged and fixed a code-red mode-S radar tracking problem on site in Langen. This fix was then distributed to all sites nationwide. Provided on-site support to evaluate alternate graphics card for HP workstation for next large scale system upgrade. Provided support and training to DFS Engineers on development and support of the TracView system. Developed and taught TracView adaptation data course to DFS system administrators from all ACC sites in Germany.
Viet Nam: Successfully completed system upgrade for Ho Chi Minh
City, Viet Nam ATC system to support RVSM and provide warranty fixes.

July 1998 to June 2002 - Sr. Software Engineer II - Raytheon Co - International Air Traffic Control
Technical Leadership: Technical Lead on 4 International ATC systems in past two years: Düsseldorf ACC, Munich Dual LAN Upgrade, Ho Chi Minh City ACC Radar Upgrade, Ho Chi Minh City ACC East Sea Airway Upgrade. Managed teams of up to 18 people to successfully field these systems. Responsibilities included managing and/or participating in the following tasks: technical support during contract negotiations, program status meetings, procurement of all hardware components, lab setup, software development, system integration, factory acceptance testing, site installation, user training, documentation review, site acceptance and sign-off, and project wrap-up. Received Raytheon Co. achievement awards for successfully completing each project on time, under budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer. Software Development: Developed the client component and the test tools of the Procon product. This product converts radar data from one format to another. System is hosted on HP-UX and uses the TCP/IP network protocol. Developed a new ASTERIX radar interface type for the TracView ATC system.

Led team of media integrators in developing multimedia enhanced CD-ROM titles to teach people how to play guitar, bass and piano using the G-VOX HW/SW system. August 1994 to March 1997 - Sr. Software Engineer - Graphix Zone
Lead software engineer on numerous CD-ROM projects. Responsible for integrating and programming a wide variety of media types into award winning consumer multimedia titles for the PC and Macintosh. Used a multitude of development tools including MS Visual C, Macromedia Director, Wise Installation System, and Apple Media Tool. Click for more information.
July 1987 to July 1993 - Software Engineer - Hughes Aircraft Co.
Duties included designing, coding, integrating, testing and documenting large scale Air Defense systems for NATO and other countries following DoD 2167 Mil-Std specifications. Experienced and trained in all phases of software lifecycle from developing requirements, top-level design, detailed design, coding, testing, and integration.
